Overview
Founded in 2002, WebHost Automation Ltd., a
Parallels Company, is
dedicated to the development of software-based systems and services
for the web hosting industry. Our commitment to hosting companies
world-wide positively impacts on our customer's businesses helping
them become more efficient and more profitable. By automating much
of the day to day operations our clients are able to better serve
their customers and grow their own businesses. Our strong
partnerships with other leading vendors allows us to bring our
customers a complete, unified hosting solution including Server
Management, User Management, Billing and Domain Registration. We
also offer a range of additional products and services to
compliment our control panel product.
The Founders
Co-Founders Mark Hall, Chief Operating Officer and Adam Saunders,
Chief Technical Offer, founded the company back in July of 2002.
Previously, they had founded, grown and eventually sold a UK-based
hosting company, OpenHosting Internet Solutions, which still
continues to be a successful, profitable business today. Since
then, the company has grown a talented team of support technicians
and software developers based at our UK Headquarters and supported
by a team of distributors and partners across the globe.
Mark Hall – Co-Founder and Chief Operating
Officer
Mark received a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Software
Engineering where he met and studied with his now co-founder Adam
Saunders. While studying for their degrees Adam and Mark founded
OpenHosting Internet Solutions (http://www.openhosting.co.uk/),
a UK-based web-hosting company focused on personal and small
business web site hosting. It was while working at OpenHosting that
Adam and Mark conceived the company’s flag-ship product Helm.
More recently Mark has moved into the role of Chief Operating
Officer and has overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation
of the company and its products and services.

Adam Saunders – Co-Founder and Chief Technical
Officer
Adam also received a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Software
Engineering and, after meeting and co-founding OpenHosting with
Mark, went on to work on a number of software projects for
financial institution in the UK. Adam’s flair for all things
technical continues to drive our products and ensures that we’re
always working with the latest and best technologies
available.
As Chief Technical Officer, Adam is responsible for the company’s
development and support activities and also still shares the
day-to-day operations for the company with Mark. |
