Server Reboot

This module allows Helm to interface directly with Windows to allow you to reboot or shutdown your server from the control panel - there is no need to login directly to the server.

On this page you can select your reboot or shutdown options for the server.

Select Shutdown Mode:- In this dropdown box you can pick the type of reboot or shutdown you want the server to perform. The options are as follows:

Reboot – Helm will attempt to reboot the server after first closing all open applications.

Shutdown – Helm will attempt to shut the server down, after first closing all open applications.

Force Reboot – Helm will kill all running processes before rebooting the server. Note: this option should only be used if you have applications running on the server that are preventing the normal reboot procedure.

Pick the type of shutdown mode you require, and then click the OK button to action it.
