Plans and Plan Templates
With Plan Templates, Helm 4 makes creating Plans even easier than
before! Instead of creating multiple Plans to sell to your users,
you can now create a Plan Template and use that to form the basis
of your Plans. Quicker, easier and far more useful. You
can define the Resources that are going to be available to your
Plan Template, choose the Provisioning Methods you want to allow
Plans to execute under this template, set up the Extra Features
that the template will allow, and more!
Provisioning Methods are a new feature in Helm 4 which allow you to
execute certain tasks when a domain is created. So for example, you
can specify that a Virtual Directory is created when a domain is
added into Helm - and you can choose the details of that Virtual
Directory. Or you can set the domain into an application pool
automatically. Or perhaps there are a number of default documents
you want to add to any IIS site that is created in Helm. Whatever
you choose, Provisioning Methods are a quick and easy way of taking
care of the little day-to-day tasks that come with domain
creation.
